E-Comics and other new-fangled ideas
Times ... they are a changin' and that's a fact, Jack!
Remember the delight of a brand new comic book when you were a kid? How about your favorite LP? Our guess is that our kids don't even know what an LP is ... and if they do, they'd probably tell us it's something used to make rythmic scratchy sounds in modern rap music. (sigh)
Do you still have your comics and records? Are they worth anything today, as collectors items? If they were well loved (used often) probably not - but at least they're a tangible item you can turn to for good memories.
That may not be the case for the next generation.
Turns out DC Comics is going to be making their comics available online. This news precipitated a Morning MIX discussion on the merits, or lack thereof, of e-comics. Which in turn, became a great conversation about a couple of things we all remember from when we were kids.
A good listen!
