Pack the Park for Annual Hope Fest
The world can be a frightening place for those who are struggling, homeless and in need of the necessary resources for survival.
On Friday, October 24th, Hope Fest will have its annual “Pack the Park” donation drive. They are asking for donated items; gently used clothing, hygiene items, canned food, diapers and stuffed animals to be dropped off at Kino Stadium from 7am until 7pm. On Saturday, the 25th collected items will be distributed to those in need.
Hope Network, Inc. is a local non-profit organization and is the organizer of Hope Fest that provides help to Tucsonans with the basic necessities of life. This event is held each October as a part of “National Make a Difference Day.”
Hope Fest provides dental care, medical care, groceries, haircuts, clothing and hygiene items to homeless, working poor, and underprivileged families in Tucson.
Hope Fest improves as well as saves lives for countless individuals. Hundreds of volunteers, helping agencies, government, social service organizations, faith-based organizations, groups and individuals will unite for a common cause during this amazing event.
