Susan was nominated by Sadee Weil for her generosity and tireless efforts to spread kindness.
Sadee Weil is a military wife who recently moved to Tucson. After only living in the area for a few days, 1000 miles from home and family, Sadee got very sick and had to go to the Emergency Room! Her nurse, Susan Hillman, was the sweetest woman in Sadee’s time of need. “Susan was my support, and made a very bad experience, a very good one.” During her visit, Susan mentioned Ben's Bells, and shared that the organization’s Be Kind movement inspired her.
She even carries around Ben’s Bells Kindness Coins to give out to people! Susan has also done relief work in Ecuador, now takes care of her mother who had a stroke, and is getting her masters in pastoral care! Her giving is endless, and she is tireless in her kindness efforts. “I only spent a few hours with her, but her impact will stay with me.”
If you know someone who spreads kindness within the Greater Tucson or Phoenix community, nominate them for a Ben's Bell! [bensbells.org]
