About Elaine

Elaine’s love of radio started early — really early! At age seven, a local radio station recruited her to do character voices, and one spin in front of the mic (surrounded by all that shiny equipment and big personalities) was all it took. She was hooked for life!

Radio became her constant companion — a loyal friend through the highs, lows, and gloriously awkward teenage years. Elaine pays it forward every weekday afternoon on 94.9 MIXfm, from 2–7 PM, lighting up Tucson’s airwaves with her signature warmth, quick wit, and radiant positivity. You can hear the smile in her voice.

Elaine’s radio journey has taken her across the airwaves of Lexington, Cincinnati, Atlanta, and Phoenix, but Tucson is her forever home, surrounded by sunshine, mountains, and monsoon magic.

Off the air, Elaine is powered by her dynamic family and a healthy dose of canine chaos. Her three spunky pups are absolutely convinced they’re the real stars of the show!

She's a proud mom, Arizona sunset enthusiast, and firm believer that laughter (especially when paired with great music) can fix just about anything. When the desert blooms and the rain starts to fall, you’ll find her outside, soaking it all in and smiling: “This is why I live here.”

And when she’s on the mic, Tucson knows it’s in great hands, because with Elaine on the air, every drive home feels lighter, brighter, and a whole lot more fun!
