Since 1965, The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter & Sanctuary has served as a loving refuge for at-risk cats and kittens.

✅ Arizona’s first no-kill shelter
✅ An accredited cage-free sanctuary by the American Sanctuary Association
✅ One of the only U.S. sanctuaries that houses cats with FIV and FeLV

Our 9,000 sq. ft. shelter houses 200+ cats at any time, with over 700 rescues annually. Our cats roam freely in their dedicated indoor and outdoor “catios,” living in a safe, no-cage, love-filled environment.

Every cat is treated as an individual — given affection, medical care, and the chance at a forever home. And if that home doesn’t come? They stay here, safe and loved.
